Generational Faith: A Social Scientific Account of Passing On Religion In-Person

Join us on February 10 at 1:00 PM in the Main Lobby of Doherty Library for a lecture and Q&A with Dr. Tim Reilly, Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of St. Thomas.

Will my children have the same faith as me? Why does religion diverge across generations? Dr. Reilly will explore these questions and present social scientific research on the types of parenting practices and social contexts that support the successful transmission of religious faith across generations.

Free and open to the public. Refreshments provided.
